Grandma Ethel's Chicken Soup
Hot chicken soup delivered to local seniors and families in crisis. Our trained volunteers engage and “Check up” on the older segments of our community that all too often fall between the cracks of the community based programs. These critical visits can have life-saving effects and their impact is felt long after the soup is finished. Read more here.
We give free counseling for an estimated 832 hours per year.
When Ben's father suddenly died last summer, the first number he dialed was ours. Chabad has a track record for helping others, no matter whom, where, or when. People know they can count on the Chabad network when they need it most. Our staff is always on-call with hospital visits, assistance in the job market, connecting people with pro-bono physicians or whatever is needed at the moment.
Kosher Magazine
The local Jewish holiday magazine promotes Jewish awareness and holiday joy.
Jewish Seniors Club
We provide the schmooze club for seniors at Leisure World.
